Sadly due to changing job and moving house I am now having to very reluctantly sell my prize possession. This is car number 104 of only a 1000 3.6 litre Cabriolets which were made between late 1984 and 1988 prior to the full convertible. It has also had a rear seat conversion which means you can take the kids in comfort compared to an XJS or XK8 convertible. I have had this car since 1991 and it has always given me tremendous pleasure and fun. It is an absolutely fantastic car to drive and has a very economical combination of a 225HP 3.6 Litre in line engine with a 5 speed Getrag manual gearbox. It can do about 30 mpg on a run as it runs at about 30 mph per 1000 rpm. So at 80 mph it is only revving at 2600 rpm. I will be really sad to see this go and want to ensure it goes to a good home where its grace and power are respected for many more years to come. It has just passed it's MOT and is insured but is currently not taxed. It has an upgraded Sony CD player which includes Bluetooth Handsfree Phone and IPOD connectivity.
