This 1991 Jaguar XJ-S Classic Collection convertible is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and is finished in black over Magnolia leather upholstery. Additional equipment includes fog lights, a power-retractable black soft top, 15″ basketweave alloy wheels, heated and power-adjustable sport seats, cruise control, air conditioning, and a Kenwood stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. The car spent time in New York and New Jersey before being relocated to Idaho in 1992 and acquired by the seller in 2023. and has since added approximately 450 of the 17785 miles. This XJ-S convertible shows 18k miles and is now offered with the owner’s manual, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in black and features a power-retractable black soft top as well as quad headlights, front fog lights, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, dual exhaust outlets, Classic Collection badging, and a telescoping antenna. The seller notes stains on the rear bumper and inside of the trunk lid, believed to have been caused by battery acid, as well as cracks in the fog light lenses.
The 15″ basketweave alloy wheels are mounted with 235/60 Goodyear Eagle NCT60 tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features heated and power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in Magnolia leather with contrasting piping, while burl wood veneer accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior amenities include cruise control, air conditioning, an onboard computer, and a Kenwood stereo with Bluetooth connectivity. The left mirror power adjustments do not function, and the right seat lumbar support does not adjust.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and a nonfunctioning fuel level gauge, as well as readouts for coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 18k miles, approximately 450 of which were added under current ownership.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 263 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The coolant expansion tank is patched, and service in June 2023 included an oil change.
Manufacturer’s literature, touch-up paint, a jack, and the removed non-functional Jaguar-branded cassette stereo will accompany the car.
