This 1991 Jaguar XJS is a Classic Collection convertible that was acquired by the current owner in 2012, and it is finished in Signal Red over Doeskin leather upholstery. Powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, the car has fog lights, a power-retractable beige soft top, 15″ basketweave alloy wheels, heated sport seats, power lumbar adjustment, wood veneer trim, an aftermarket cassette stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. This XJS convertible is now offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with a Jaguar-branded top boot, a car cover, a Carfax report, and a clean Delaware title.
The car is finished in Signal Red (CFC) and features a power-retractable beige soft top as well as quad headlights, fog lights, a Jaguar growler hood emblem, dual exhaust outlets, and a rear Classic Collection badge. The Carfax report lists an accident reported in May 2001, and paintwork is said to have been completed. A car cover and a Jaguar-branded top boot are included in the sale.
Basketweave 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 235/60 Hankook Kinergy ST tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes.
The heated sport seats are upholstered in Doeskin leather with red piping, and they are complemented by wood veneer trim on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Additional appointments consist of an aftermarket cassette stereo, power lumbar adjustment, a chrome-finished shift knob, cruise control, air conditioning, and Jaguar-branded door sill trim. The left seat piping is worn.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 41k miles. The Carfax report lists a mileage inconsistency in September 2022, and the total mileage is unknown.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 263 horsepower and 288 lb-ft of torque. One of the ignition coils was replaced along with the heater control valve and assorted air conditioning components in 2019.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The center exhaust resonators were removed and aftermarket rear silencers have been installed.
