This 1994 Jaguar XJS was sold new at Chaisson Motor Cars of Las Vegas, Nevada and spent time in Colorado before being brought to California in 2009 and acquired by the seller last year. Finished in Oyster Metallic over Doeskin leather, the car shows just under 51k miles and is powered by a 4.0-liter DOHC inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. New exhaust mounts were installed and an inspection was completed in anticipation of the sale. This XJS is now offered at no reserve with its window sticker, factory manuals, service records, a Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

Oyster Metallic paint is accented with a color-matching rear spoiler and two-tone pinstripes. The rear bumper cover and taillights were replaced by Stuttgart Auto Body of Englewood, Colorado following an accident in 2005. The trunk lid and right-rear quarter panel were also repaired and refinished at this time. Exterior flaws include scrapes on the underside of the front valance, two door dings on the driver-side rear quarter panel, and a blemish on the corner of the front bumper.

Doeskin leather seats are heated, power-adjustable, and feature lumbar support, as well as memory settings for the driver. Burl wood trims the dash, instrument cluster, and center console, and stainless steel Jaguar-branded covers line the sills. Light wear is noted on the driver’s outer bolster.

A modern Sony head unit with satellite radio and a remote control has been added, and additional amenities include cruise control, air conditioning, power windows and locks, and a heated glass rear window. The 160-mph speedometer contains a six-digit odometer that shows just under 51k miles, approximately 500 of which were added by the seller.

The 4.0L inline-six was originally rated for 225 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a ZF four-speed automatic transmission. An inspection was recently completed by Jaguar specialist Bob Cutler of Pasadena, California, and new exhaust mounts were installed. An oil change was performed in July 2019, and maintenance records dating to new are included in the sale.

The window sticker lists initial delivery to Chaisson Motor Cars of Las Vegas, Nevada, as well as a total suggested retail price of $52,730.

The January 2020 Carfax report shows the aforementioned accident and displays history in Colorado and California.
