1996 Jaguar XJS convertible, 6 cylinder automatic. Rare color combo of black/black/black and ultra low miles- just over 100k original. Fully loaded with power top, windows, mirrors, seats, leather interior with contrasting piping and beautiful wood. Good runner/driver with nearly brand new Pirelli tires. Needs paint and misc small repairs. These are fantastic cars to own and enjoy and here is a good opportunity to get one at a great price, do some repairs, and save a lot of money in the process. Other XJS convertibles of this series (94-95-96) are selling on Ebay at $15k-$20k and up….

Overall good condition for its age- New Mexico and California car all its life with no rust. Good body with minor dings here and there, a light parking lot dent in left rear bumper corner (areplacement bumper chrome section is included), and cracks in front and rear bumper covers down low (typical for this model and repairable). Paint looks ok but is not great- the car needs to be repainted. Interior is overall good – nice dash with no cracks, good wood, good door panels and interior panels, and nice headliner. Seats are overall good- driver seat shows wear on bottom seat cushion and lightly on backrest; passenger seat good and rear seat looks like never used. Top is very nice with no rips or tears and only very minor wear. Everything works electrically-power windows/top/mirrors/seats, wipers, and lights. Power antenna not working and trunk mounted CD player not tested. Cruise control and AC not tested. Brakes work and stop the car but are mushy and need maintenance. Includes aftermarket Sony stereo with XM and Bluetooth and removable face.

This is a great project car to tinker with and fix over the winter to have fun in the Spring and Summer. This car has not been used much in the last few years and should get the basic service and maintenance typical for the model before being used regularly.

Due the fact that the car has not been used much in recent years and the brake system condition, please plan on having the car shipped or trucked to your location. It should not be driven any distance before being checked out thoroughly.

Clean Carfax with no accidents and mileage is verified as correct. Clean clear California title. The car comes with 1 key for ignition/doors/trunk, 1 key for the gas filler, and 1 Jaguar remote (not tested)
