Opening bid $16,000, no reserve, no bids 1 day left in auction. 29k miles.

Sellers description:
This is a rare, super-low mileage, collectible quality, very soon to become a classic, Jaguar XJS convertible. Black with Crème interior, and the second most highly collectible color combination is this combination: ultra-rare JGE Sapphire (Navy Blue) with NDR Crème leather interior. And, to that fact, this car has garnered more attention and 'ooh's and ahh's' than any other Jaguar XJS I have ever owned. It is also is a super-low mileage vehicle with only 29,654 miles on it to date. It is as close to experiencing what it feels like to drive it off of the showroom floor. Everything is perfect... with the exception of 2 flaws... 1 (cosmetic that everyone I have ever shown the vehicle to says to keep) is the CHROME Jaguar LEAPER, and 2) is that the front bumper is re-enforced. Both of these additions are not original to the car, but they are very functional. The wheels have also been powder - coated in a 'Chrome' finish, and look fantastic!!!

This vehicle has had 3 previous owners recorded, but the 2nd and 3rd are the same as the title was transferred from one state to another. The first one drove it sparingly, had it 13 years and only drove it 24,772 miles. The 2nd owner had it 3 years and drove it less than 2,000 miles, and then had it kept here as a 'SnowBird' car here in gorgeous Scottsdale, Arizona, where it was driven less than 3,000 miles. I have CARFAX reports of it's actual mileage as well as some of the vehicle history for repairs. What is important is that the vehicle was kept up with regular service (and then some), and no expense was spared.

It is a beautiful vehicle. I have seen some with slightly less mileage, but in less desirable color combinations. I have only seen a few with the rear spoiler, but this unit has an integrated rear light, that I have never seen before. It drives like new. It smells like new. The interior is perfect. The leather seats show no wear. Everything works as it should. It is fantastic.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
