Excellent, very original, strong running 1995 Jaguar XJS 6 cylinder, 4.0, 2+2 convertible. I believe I am the second owner of this very well kept Jaguar. I've owned it about 4 years, during which it has always been garaged and I believe it was prior to my ownership. I don't believe it has been smoked in, and I am sensitive to that. At the time I purchased it, the stayfast (canvas) top and leather front seat covers were replaced and the front and rear bumper covers were repainted in the original color. Other than that, I cannot see where any other paintwork or bodywork has been done. All panels; hood, trunk lid, doors, and all four fenders retain their original body stickers with the VIN. Matching Pirelli P4 tires with plenty of tread left. Headliner is nice. Factory alloy wheels in nice shape with the exception of one small scrape in the right front. Motor runs flawlessly; starts easily, no smoking, no ominous noises, no leaks, runs quietly with lots of power. Never any issues passing smog or with check engine light. The AJS 4.0 motor received several updates in the 1995 model year, increasing the horsepower to 237, and the car is surprisingly more quick and agile than the earlier 6 cylinder models. Likewise, transmission shifts smoothly with no issues. Brakes are fine, factory radio, multiple disc CD player, and automatic power antenna all work fine. AC requires annual refrigerant topping and works OK, heater works perfectly. Power windows work as they should and top hydraulics function as they should, although there is a small glitch on the way down as the rear window catches slightly between the top bow and the top of the rear seat; just needs a little nudge at the right time. Finally, there is a small dent next to the right side door handle and a series of very small door dings on both sides of the car, small enough I couldn't get them to show up in pictures. There are a few other small paint blemishes, but I think maintaining the original finish for a car at this level would be far better than attempting to repair them or repaint the car. It is very presentable and I frequently receive compliments when I drive it.
