This 1996 Jaguar XJS 2+2 Celebration Edition convertible has remained registered in California from new and was acquired by the seller in 2019, reportedly from its original owner. Now showing 64k miles, it is finished in Carnival Red over Oatmeal leather and powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, fog lights, a power-retractable beige soft top, 16″ alloy wheels, power-adjustable front sport seats, cruise control, automatic climate control, and an Alpine Bluetooth stereo. The wood- and leather-trimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 64k miles, approximately 6k of which were added under current ownership.

The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 237 horsepower and 282 lb-ft of torque.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The transmission is said to have been rebuilt in April 2023.
