This 1996 Jaguar XJS Celebration Edition convertible is finished in Sapphire over Cream leather and powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes a power-retractable blue convertible top, 16″ alloy wheels, power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, cruise control, and a cassette stereo. The car spent time in Missouri and Florida before it was acquired by the seller and relocated to Texas in April 2022. This final-year XJS shows 49k miles and is now offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a boot cover, two keys, a clean Carfax report, and a Texas title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Sapphire (JGE) with chrome accents and features a power antenna, dual exhaust outlets, and a power-retractable blue soft top with a heated glass rear window. The passenger-side lower front valance was reportedly damaged by a curb under prior ownership.

Silver-finished 16″ aluminum wheels wear 235/60 Accelera Phi tires. A full-size spare wearing a Pirelli tire is housed in the trunk, and a brake-fluid flush was carried out in February 2022.

The 2+2 cabin features seating upholstered in Cream leather (NDR) with beige piping as well as matching carpets and burl wood veneers accenting the dashboard, center console, steering wheel, and door panels. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats, air conditioning, cruise control, a cassette stereo, a clock, an ashtray, and power windows.

Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer along with gauges for voltage, fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 49k miles, approximately 2k of which were added by the seller. The steering wheel has a chip in the lower wood-rimmed portion.

The 4.0-liter inline-six features electronic fuel injection and was rated at 245 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque when new. Work performed since March 2022 is said to have included cleaning and servicing the ignition module, fitting a K&N air filter and a replacement Delco battery, and changing the rear-axle fluid.

Power is routed to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission.
