Ebay item 8/24www.ebay.com/itm/387317841402
Opening bid $14,625, reserve not met 0 bids 6 days left in auction, buy it now price $19,500, seller westcoastclassics, 53k miles
Seller's description:
West Coast Classics are proud to present an absolutely exceptional example of this classic and low mileage original California 1990 Jaguar XJS 5.3L V12 Convertible with only 53K original miles in the gorgeous and very striking and desirable color combination of original factory 'Glacier White' (Code NDP) paint with factory chrome alloy wire wheels and beautiful doeskin 'Barley' (Trim Code AFW) leather interior and with a Black factory power soft top! This particular car must be seen to be truly appreciated! A real head-turner!
This is the rare 5.3L 326 CID V12 model with factory options including: electronic fuel injection, electronic ignition system, power 4 anti-lock wheel disc brakes, power rack & pinion steering, leather-bound tilt steering wheel with airbag, power tinted windows, heated rear window, power door locks, automatic temperature control, air conditioning, cruise control, trip computer, leather faced seats and trim, heated sport seats, power lumbar support, burled walnut facia and trim, deep pile carpet, 4 speaker 80W AM/FM Cassette Player & power antenna, Halogen foglamps/headlights, heated power mirrors, dual coach stripes, chrome spoke alloy wheels and heated windshield washer.
Obviously always garaged with absolutely no rust and no accidents and a clean CARFAX report, owned by only obviously very careful and mature southern California owner/drivers since new - never abused, babied all the way!
The original factory 'Glacier White' color paint is in excellent condition as is the original 'Barley' color leather seats and interior with only some very minor signs of any wear on the original leather on the drivers side bolster with the door panels, headliner and the carpets all in outstanding condition throughout and the car had an original sales price of over $64K in 1989/90!
Powered by one of the finest, race proven engines built by Jaguar, the smooth 5,344 c.c. V12 engine was a worthy successor to the XK series of Jaguar sports cars dating from the late 1940's and this particular engine is extremely strong and smooth running with excellent oil pressure and which does not burn or leak oil. The temperature always remains cool and the car drives exactly like a V12 Jaguar with such low miles should!
This must be one of the finest examples available anywhere of this classic and increasingly desirable and collectible rare V12 Jaguar, a truly luxurious smooth V12 ride and one of the last beautiful hand built cars from Jaguar's legendary Browns Lane, Coventry, England plant and a car that cost almost $64K new in 1990 (over $142K in todays money!) - this is probably the last classically beautiful design built by Jaguar in their long and famous history of classic lines - with these models becoming harder to find in such all original condition with low miles and with this car having only two obviously careful and mature owner/drivers since new, this is one sure-fire classic car investment for the Jaguar enthusiast or simply any classic car lover!

This 1990 Jaguar XJ-S V12 convertible shows 54k miles following a registration history in California. The car is finished in Glacier White over Barley leather and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a limited-slip differential, a black soft top, chrome-finished 15″ cross-spoke wheels, heated seats, a Pioneer head unit, cruise control, and automatic climate control. This XJ-S V12 convertible was purchased by the seller in April 2025, and it is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Glacier White (NDP) and is equipped with a black soft top, quad headlights, front fog lights, chrome mirror caps, a power antenna, and dual exhaust outlets.
Chrome-finished 15″ cross-spoke wheels are mounted with Cooper Cobra Radial tires. Braking is provided by four-wheel anti-lock discs. The stabilizer bar bushings were replaced in November 2022, and the front brake rotors and pads were replaced under current ownership.
The heated seats are upholstered in Barley leather (AFW), and burl wood veneer accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior equipment includes a Pioneer head unit, a driver-side airbag, cruise control, an onboard computer, and automatic climate control.
The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 54k miles, approximately 1k of which were added under current ownership. The steering wheel pad was replaced in November 2022.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. The seller tells us that a manually operated secondary cooling fan has been installed. The thermostat and engine oil were said to have been replaced in April 2025.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. The seller notes that the transmission oil was replaced in April 2025.
