This 1992 Jaguar XJS is finished in metallic red over a beige leather interior and powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a 3-speed automatic transmission. The car has reportedly been repainted in its original color, and a service in April 2018 included replacement of the front brakes, tie rod ends, and wheel bearings as well as a rebuild of the power top hydraulics and more. This XJS was recently acquired by the seller with 70k indicated miles and is offered with an accident-free Carfax report and a clean North Carolina title in the seller’s name.

The car was repainted in its original Flamenco Red at an unknown point under previous ownership according to the seller. Photos show the condition of the finish and trim up close in the gallery below as well as detailing several paint chips and dings. The hydraulic system for the power-operated fabric top was rebuilt in April 2018.

Chromed basketweave wheels are mounted with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires which should likely be replaced due to age according to the seller, who also notes that one center cap is missing. Front-end work performed in April 2018 included replacement of the front brake calipers, rotors, pads, and hoses as well as the inner and outer tie rod ends, wheel bearings, and ABS accumulator.

The cabin is finished in beige leather with matching carpets and burl wood trim. Amenities consist of power windows and locks, electrically-adjustable seats, air conditioning, cruise control, and a programmable trip computer. A Pioneer CD player has replaced the factory unit.

Just over 69,700 miles are displayed on the 6-digit odometer. Noted flaws include a crack in the glovebox veneer, scuffed center console brightwork, and faulty power locks.

The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 263 horsepower with 288 lb-ft of torque and is linked to the rear wheels through a 3-speed automatic transmission. An oil and filter change last occurred in January 2018 according to included records.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage during time spent in Florida, New Jersey, and Kentucky from new through early 2018.
