Ebay item 5/21/11 cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/1992-Jaguar-XJS-V12-pristine-condition-8785-miles-/30055 ...
Current bid $13,100 reserve not met, 7 bids 1 day left in auction.
Sellers description:
Incredible example offered by private seller, with under 8800 miles. In showroom condition throughout. Paint shines like new. The body is ding free. Leather is supple and soft. Wood dash and "ski slope" are in perfect condition. Unlike ads from many commercial sellers, the engine compartment has never been cleaned. Look closely and you'll find no oil seeping out of the gaskets. The car leaks nothing. The insulation under the hood is perfect. The radio is original. You can feel the newness even in the spring load of the door handles. The only things non-original about the car are: 1) Optima battery (maintenance free and contains no acid) 2) Synthetic oil.
The car has 2 spots of imperfection as shown in the last 2 photos: 1) Crack in the left rear log light lens on the bumper 2) A small nick on the left side door pocket.
To those familiar with this model, '92 is the start of the "face-lift" years, with many improvements over previous iterations. It is also among the last of the 5.3L V12's. Vehicle mileage and history are confirmed by the AutoCheck report. The car has always been owned in Northern California, and passes smog with flying colors.
