This a really nice rust free excellent running XJS that has been garaged kept. It has had the following service completed in the past few months:

4 new tires, new top, new rear brake calipers, pads, drilled rotors and all new shocks (6) .

This car can be driven everyday comfortably with no issue as is.

If purchased for restoration purposes the following items would need repair :

A/C needs to be updated to meet current freon standards

Small wear spot on bottom back corner of driver seat (typical spot where the butt hits when sliding into seat).

Oil and gas gauges sketchy at times

Automatic top right rear cylinder needs attention. Top motor works fine. Top operates sand locks manually without issue

Odometer quit at 89 K . I dont know actual mileage but based on condition probably not a high mileage vehicle. Tach and speedo do work as well as trip computer.

Car has a small bump behind driver side door as can be seen in picture. I"m told it can be popped out without damage to paint.

Everything else on the car works well.

This 1990 Jaguar XJS convertible has been driven 89,000 miles since new and receives power from a 5.3-liter V12 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission. INTERIOR – GAUGES

Instrumentation consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a 7,000-rpm tachometer, and supporting gauges for the fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and voltage. ENGINE AND TRANSMISSION
