Very sporty! Starts and runs smoothly. No smoke. Check engine light recently came on and has something to do with emissions. In the process of scanning to find the source and rectify.
The 1992 Jaguar XJS came with an updated version of the company's venerable 5.3-liter V12, with 263 horsepower, 288 ft-lb of torque, and fancy Lucas digital fuel-injection.
In the process of replacing a power steering line that was leaking. Will sell "as is" or complete repairs.
On the front of each seat the leather has cracked. Replacement leather seats panels are available.

Car returns to ebay 9/13/24
Opening bid $5,000, no bids, 6 days left in auction, reserve not met, same seller, photos and location, 89k miles
Seller's description:
JD Powers shows current NADA book value at $15,500 AVERAGE. This car originally had an MSRP of $67,500.
Hagerty valuation for more exotic cars shows a #1 Concours (Show Condition) at $39,700, #2 Excellent condition at $29,900, #3 Good condition at $15,500. Both show Low retail or fair condition between $7,500-$9,200.
This Jaguar is in overall good condition, as the recent photos reflect!
Here are the things that need attention...Check engine light recently came on and has something to do with emissions. Power steering pump or line has a leak, so power steering works poorly. On the front of each seat the leather has cracked. Replacement leather seats panels are available or McDowell’s in Boise does an incredible job with leather repair.

This car is probably too nice to part out and use this cool V12 in a unique hot rod, as well as the unique suspension, but if you buy it, do with it as you wish.
