Car has been sitting for years due to the Teves ABS system. The Teves was recently removed and replaced with a 1986 XJS vacuum booster and a rebuilt master cylinder. The car starts easily, runs well, and has sufficient braking to drive onto a trailer. Please do not bid if you are planning to drive it home or want to test drive an unregistered car on a public road. If I were to continue with the car I would replace the brake calipers, the rubber parts, and clean the contacts in the electrical system. For example, the alternator gauge indicates charging some times but not at other times. The wiper motor has been replaced, and with the Teves out the rest of the car seems quite tractable. Body is very solid with no visible rust and has good floors. Interior upholstery is in good shape for the age. Plastic burls on the console and door panels are flaking. The glove box is stuck shut. The right fender emblem is missing. Transmission is the original GM 3 speed auto.Tires are older, matching set of Eagle GT with very little wear. Includes a Jaguar LTD service manual, the Teves parts, and the cd changer. Will cooperate with shipping. Overall it is a worthy project car offered at no reserve.
