Ebay item 6/15/16
www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XJS-XJS-/311634941170
Opening bid US $3,899 reserve not met no bids 4 days left in auction. Seller onlineauctionsbybluestar, 94k miles.

Sellers description:
1990 Jaguar XJS 2 Door V-12 Automatic Convertible

Things to know about the Mechcanics on this Automobile: The Car has been in my clients warehouse for 2-1/2 Years. When we received the Car we drained out the old fuel. Installed a New Battery & Fuel. The Car Starts up and runs. It idles ruff when cold but when it warms up it runs good with just a slight hesitation in the throttle response.

The Car rides smooth with plenty of power. It goes threw the gears smoothly & also down shifts well when under power. The Motor Sounds Good with no noises, no knocking, no smoke & no tapping noises. Gages all work correctly.

The Car drives & rides nice. The car goes straight when I let go of the steering wheel. When I apply the brakes the car stops straight and doesn't drift left or right. I heard no grinding or squeaking noises from the brakes. It feels like the car may need a set of rear shocks. The Tires on the car look good but we recommend that they be replaced if you plan on driving the car regularly or on a long road trip.

The Power Convertible Top: Works as it should. Having the car in the idling park position lifting up on the parking brake and pushing the top button the rear windows roll down automatically and the top retracts down into place as it should. It also raises it self up into the close position with no strain. I found no tears to the black convetible top or the convertible tops cover. The inside head liner looks good with no tears.

Radio. Has a lock on it. I have a card with a code but was unable to get the radio to work. When you turn the radio on the power antenna raise up and when the radio is turned off the antenna retracts back into the down position.

The Body, Paint & Interior Seats: The paint on this car is Lipstick Red in Color. The paint on this Car looks to be orginial with no fading to the color. There are some surface scratches here and there on the car, Stone chips on the lower part of the fenders and quarter panels by the wheels, Some small parking lot dings on the doors. The Car was involved in a small fender bender in a parking lot when the old owner bumped the car into his building. Causing Damage to the right passenger side front end of the car. The fender is slightly bent, Bumper is bent as seen in the images and the right reflector turn signal lens is cracked. "See Images" Interior: Shows signs of wear from normal use. No tears to the seats or door panels, no cracks in the dash, the wood trim on the glove box door has a few small cracks in it as seen in the images. The center console looks good with normal wear. The passenger side door panel has some minor damage on the edge of the door pocket. The Passenger seat has some discoloration to the leather, 1/2 of the seat looks dull perhaps from placing a wet rag on the seat, unsure. Rust: The car is 95% rust free. The floor boards & trunk look clean with no signs of rust and are very solid.

The Chrome and Stainless Looks good. The rubber that goes around the chrome fenders showing signs of cracking and parts of the rubber missing. Remember that the Front bumper is bent as mentioned in the ad.

STANDARD AMENITIES ON THE '90 MODEL INCLUDE:

With all of this being said this Automobile is Clean and is in Very Good Used Running Condition.
In need of a new owner that wants to invest a little time and love into this beautiful car.

Because the Car has been sitting for this period of time we recommend that the winning bidder tune-up the Car and replace all fluids & filters. The milage on the Car is correct with just under 95,000 original miles.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
