This 1993 Jaguar XJS convertible spent time in Pennsylvania and California under previous ownership before it was exported to Europe in 2019, and in 2022 the car was purchased by the seller and subsequently returned to the United States. It is powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and is finished in black over Charcoal leather upholstery. Additional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, gold pinstripes, a power-retractable black soft top, 15″ basketweave wheels, heated power-adjustable sport seats, a Kenwood head unit, a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer, cruise control, and air conditioning. This XJS convertible is now offered at no reserve with the owner’s manual, a car cover, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in black and features a power-retractable black soft top as well as a Jaguar growler hood emblem, gold pinstripes, dual exhaust outlets, and a telescoping antenna. A July 2001 entry in the Carfax report notes that the car was involved in an accident with another motor vehicle that resulted in damage to the left front. A car cover is included in the sale.

The 15″ basketweave wheels are mounted with 215/65 Vredestein Sportrac S tires. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes. The seller notes that the shocks are due for replacement.

The cabin features heated power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in Charcoal leather. Interior amenities include a Kenwood head unit that was installed under current ownership, a trunk-mounted six-disc CD changer, cruise control, and air conditioning. A seat heater module was replaced in October 2023. The carpeting shows wear and the driver’s side courtesy light is loose. The seller states the stereo needs to be programmed.

The four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 260-km/h speedometer and a tachoeter as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 150k kilometers (~93k miles), approximately 1,500 km of which were added under current ownership. Mileage inconsistencies are noted in March 2023 Carfax report entries. Total mileage is unknown.

The 4.0-liter inline-six was factory rated at 219 horsepower and 273 lb-ft of torque. The spark plugs and hood release cable were replaced in November 2022. The exhaust gas return valve, air conditioning compressor, and power steering pump were replaced in 2023.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
