This Group 44-style coupe was built in 2021 using the drivetrain, suspension, seats, and unibody chassis from a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro Z28, along with body panels and a dashboard sourced from a 1987 Jaguar XJS. Power is supplied by a carbureted 5.7L V8 reportedly equipped with LT4 cylinder heads, 11:1 Wiseco pistons, a Comp camshaft, and Hooker headers. The car is finished in white with green stripes and Group 44-style graphics over gray cloth upholstery, and additional equipment includes a six-speed manual transmission, a Currie 9″ rear end, gold-painted 16″ alloy wheels, Bilstein shocks, Eibach lowering springs, chassis reinforcements, and side exhaust pipes. This custom coupe is offered by the selling dealer in Pennsylvania with clean Carfax reports for both the Jaguar and the Camaro donor car along with a clean Indiana title, listing it as a 1987 Jaguar XJS.
Body panels from a 1987 Jaguar XJS were mounted to a donor chassis from a 1994 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 and repainted white with two-tone green stripes. Group 44-style graphics have been applied to the exterior, and the car additionally features a battery cutoff switch, trunk hold-down pins, yellow-tinted headlight lenses, a left fuel filler block-off plate, a front spoiler, and side exhaust pipes. The turn signal wiring is said to have been repaired in preparation for the sale. Corrosion is noted in the driver’s door jamb.
Aftermarket gold-painted 16″ alloy wheels are wrapped in 235/60 Goodyear Reliant All-Season tires. Braking is handled by four wheel discs. The suspension reportedly features a Global West panhard rod, weld-in subframe connectors, and lower control arms, along with Bilstein shocks, Eibach 1.25″ lowering springs, polyurethane bushings, and a TPIS strut tower brace.
The cabin houses high-back front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in two-tone gray cloth. Custom interior panels are trimmed in black cloth and Tanaka four-point harnesses are fitted for the front occupants. A Pro-5.0 Performance shifter assembly has been installed, along with a fire extinguisher located behind the passenger seat.
A two-spoke Jaguar steering wheel frames a Motor Meter Racing 120-mph speedometer and an Autometer tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline. Equus gauges mounted centrally on the dashboard display oil pressure, fuel temperature, and battery voltage. The digital odometer shows 9 miles, though total mileage is unknown.
The 5.7-liter LT1 V8 is equipped with a custom air intake and four-barrel carburetor and is said to have been installed in 2021. Additional equipment reportedly includes the following components:
LT4 cylinder heads
Hooker Super Comp headers
Wiseco 11:1 forged pistons
Eagle 6” H-beam connecting rods
Comp Cams CC306 camshaft
Comp Cams 1.6:1 roller rockers with guide plates
Chromoly pushrods
Crane valve springs
Manley valves
LT4-spec timing chain
Canton oil pan
Pertronix Digital Rev limiter
Aluminum radiator with an electric cooling fan
March crank pulley
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a T56 six-speed manual transmission equipped with a Centerforce dual disc clutch assembly, a 3″ carbon fiber driveshaft, and a Currie 9″ rear end with a 4.11:1 gear ratio.
