Very nice clean original 1986 Jaguar XJS V-12 Coupe.

An elderly couple from here in my hometown bought the Jaguar 5 years ago. They explained that they only used the car during the summer months and drove it for several thousand miles since they purchased it. It was always well maintained, car covered and properly stored inside of their heated garage. They were very good stewards of the vehicle and are now ready to move along to something different and have asked me to represent the car for them.

The original gold "Antelope" paint is in excellent condition and is still bright and shiny. The body appears to have never been damaged or previously repaired and is clean underneath having no rust or scale. There is only one small dent on the top of the passenger fender along with several scratches on the edge of the passenger side of the hood, please see my close up photos of these imperfections. All of the bright work or chrome plating is equally as nice as the paint. All of the factory tinted window glass is original to the car and is in nice condition having no chips or scratches.

The saddle leather interior is also in very nice original survivor condition having no rips, tears, burns, sun fade, etc., with only minimal wear on the drivers front seat. There is a pair of manually operated bucket seats in the front and a bench seat in the rear. The cloth headliner is also in excellent condition and is not sagging down at all. All of the lights including fog, gauges, power windows, power door locks, wipers, horns, AM/FM CD Player, etc. are in good working order. The only exception being the air conditioning compressor does not kick on. The car also features full read-out gauge instruments with wood veneered dashboard, a telescopic steering column and both drivers & passengers remote mirrors. The trunk area is as clean as the rest of the car still retaining it's original carpeting & side panels, spare tire and cover and even the factory tool bag & jack. A brand new Napa battery that is hidden behind the cover next to the spare tire has just been installed.

This Jaguar XJS has it's original 5.3 liter V-12 engine and a 3 speed automatic transmission with rear wheel drive and power disc brakes. The Jag runs strong, shifts correctly and stops on a dime. It rides on 15" Radial tires mounted on factory Alloy Wheels. This vehicle is in ride and drive condition and is ready to be enjoyed. It comes with a clean, clear Pennsylvania title.
