This Jag is no for everyone. This would be a more like a Hot Rod or Race CAR.. This would be for one who has experience with Rods and Racing. Engine is a stroked 350 chevy, to 383 C.I with a. Weiand 177 Supercharger. Have all invoices from Summit Racing Equipment. AFR Heads .250 intake valve, steel forged crank, 7/16 bolt rods, forged pistons, Comp Cams- roller, Holley carb 650, MDS Ign, Trans was done by Transmission Specialties, GM 350 Turbo, good for 600 hp. Also put a NOS System on, needs wiring hook up to finish. Installation is first class. John's Cars,inc of Texas makes a conversion kit, headers, drive shaft, engine mounts,.etc. With help John's engine installation is professional. No rust out on under carriage or body. Jag was painted green years ago, was red originally, paint still shines and looks good. Interior is Tan leather and worn not torn up. About 5 yrs ago, summer of 2010, A new costumer had his Cadie repaired, a very large bill for repairs done, He agreed to estimate so work was done. When picking car up he was short on cash. He left the Jag SXJ until balance was paid in full. About 600.00 was owed. My Boss tried calling this guy for a couple of months no answer. Our Township Police stop in our shop occasionally to say hi. This one day they stopped in, the boss asked how can I get in touch with this Jag guy. They ran tag # and the Officer said this guy would not be around for along time. He had drug problem, and was selling. THE JAG HAS A FORMERLY ABANDONED TITLE THE TITLE IS CLEAR in my name. Needs rear u-joints and inboard axel seals. I have the parts, due to my health I can't do it myself. I will add newer pictures of NOS on car and gauges in rear of blower hat. Rear brake are new, rotors and pads, rebuilt calipers. Rear axel studs have been replaced with hi grade aircraft bolts rather than studs as Jag had. New front pads and calipers also master cylinder. I drive this on the street, This car drives and handles like a 1986 SJX JAG. Front springs were changed for weight of the chevy is much less the V12. Went to Maple Grove Raceway the Supper Chevy show 2012. Drove to and from the track, radio and ac on, ran a 12:505 on stock street tires. With real tires elevens no problem.
