Current bid $1,000, no reserve, 7 bids 5 days left in auction. 92k miles.

Sellers description:
Body in good condition for its age no dents or collision damage however there is some paint oxidation and minor rust. Chrome was blacked out in 2003 but is showing some paint adhesion problems. Interior shows its age separation of seat seams on drivers and passengers seats new headliner in 2003. Engine and transmission mechanically sound runs and shifts smooth.. Replaced radiator and cooling fan in 2012 power steering leaks as high pressure hydraulic lines need replacement. Air conditioning and cruise control need repair as well as other minor electrical issues which are common in Jaguars of this era. It's been a fun car to drive still grabs a lot of attention rolling down the road. She's no concourse beauty queen any more but a good solid starting point for a restoration. She would be a GREAT! project for a Jaguar enthusiast. Moving cross country and just can't take all my toys with me.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
