This car has relatively new shock absorbers, headliner and catalytic converters. The steering rack was converted to a later model to eliminate the problem with leaks common to this year. The front seats were also redone.

It is in great running condition. It does have a leak from the transmission but no other fluid leaks. It has been very reliable and it has had a lot of work done, including replacement of the heater core. It easily passes smog. A previous owner seems to have adjusted the differential so that it is quick on takeoff, unlike most XJSs. I had it painted a few years ago but they did a horrible job and the paint is chipping off in some places. There is rust where the paint has chipped but there is no other rust on the car. I love this car but I don't have room to keep it and I rarely have a chance to drive it. I have had the car for 12 years and taken good care of it.

One of the window switches needs to be cleaned or replaced. A/C was working but it may need to be re-charged. Transmission has a leak. Pan was sealed but it did not fix the leak. Odometer is not currently working. It has not been driven more than a few hundred miles since it stopped working.
