Salvage title, on ebay 02/07, sold for $2,555
seller write:

This is a 1987 Jaguar XJ-S V12. This car was just donated and being offered for sale here on eBay.

This luxury convertible does run, but it smokes. Definately should not be bid on as a car that can be driven home. We havent driven it, and dont know what it needs. It needs some work, but it could possibly be a great parts car as well!

This car will be sold with an acqusition bill of sale which will result in a SALVAGE title once processed at the DMV. We recommend only California bidders to avoid registration and/or import hassles because we dont not process any paperwork with DMV for buyers.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
