Sellers description:
1987 XJS has been converted to Chevy V8 power,turbo 400 tranny with shift kit. It has a built 355 cubic inch small block, pete jackson gear drive,weber 650 carb, hei ingition, with a Turbo 400 automatic transmission. The engine was a four bolt main 350 cubic inch engine bored to 355 cubic inches. It has an Edelbrock Performer intake and carburetor, MSD distributor, gear drive for the timing,crane performance camshaft nice lumpy sound, and a new alternator. The engine was rebuilt to high specs using"only" quality parts. The Turbo 400 was rebuilt with a shift kit installed.
The following has been done to the car:
New KYB shocks on the front and rear
New ball joints and tie rods on the front
New bushings in the front wishbones
Four new u-joints in the axle shafts from the rear differential
Brake master cylinder rebuilt
Front and rear brake calipers rebuilt with Speed Bleeders installed
New disc rotors in the rear
New Axxis semi-metallic brake pads and rear including the parking brake
New brake hoses front and rear
New transmission filter and fluid change
New pinion seal in the rear differential
Fluid change in the rear differential
DOT 5 Silicone fluid fill in the brake system
This is a "RUNNING AND DRIVING" Hot Rod. It has the usual British electrical gremlins, such as the windshield wipers not working, etc. The car was painted satin black DP90. It has no AC. The body of the car is very sound NO RUST. There are no rust holes or major damage to the car.
