Sellers description:
Neat older XJS. Previous owner had car for 10 years prior to my purchase this winter. Great V12, fast, drives straight, rides well. I would keep the car but too many in the collection so something must be sold. Car has been well maintained. Has had a repaint somewhere along the way in the original color. Good chrome, interior very nice. No dents or dings, no signs of accidents. Interior carpets nice, no rips or tears on leather. I just had new heater valve installed with new lines. Car fires right up and runs very well. Looks to have a newer exhaust system on car as well as the hydraulic shocks on the hood.

As I noted, it is an '83 and not perfect. I am a car collector so I am probably going to be harder on the car than most people. The bad:

Will need a new headliner or current one reattached towards the rear of car. Not torn or dirty, just sagging as most do.
AC/Heat blower fan does not kick on. Probably a relay.
The wood on the dash trim over time has started to crack. Very normal and replacement kits available.
The worst is the bubbling under the paint on both lower rear quarters as well as the rust very bottom of fender wells.
Lastly, moonroof opens but struggles. Gears I'm guessing or just needs to be used and actually used.
