I have owned this Jaguar for 2 years. Car is certainly temperamental like any Jaguar. Has Lucas electrics installed. I replaced the 2 coil system with a single DAC6093 coil. Car does not like cold weather and most days will not start. On summer days I have no problem with starting. I replaced the coolant temp sensor and it does start better now.
I removed the AC compressor to facilitate changing and/or cleaning spark plugs. I have not re-installed.
Because of my schedule the car sits dormant most of the time.
Body is in very good condition for a 27 year old car. The paint has faded. During the early 80s Jaguar skimped on the paint job and most cars started fading out within a few years. There is one quarter sized dent on the front left fender.
Interior is complete and has a custom wooden steering wheel. Leather seating is somewhat faded but still presentable. Some stitching has come loose.
Reasonable reserve. I'm only trying to recoup a portion of what I've spent on this car.
