Car returns to ebay 9/22/22

Seller's description:
1989 Jaguar XJS V12 convertible. Runs and drives well. no rust, original paint good condition, perfect wood inside, recent new top, starter, alternator, battery, brakes, transmission rebuilt, suspension bushings, tires etc. Receipts for $12K previous owner spent on it before I bought it a few years ago. I put less than 500 miles since I bought it. Has high end Alpine stereo/CD with big speakers in rear package shelf and big amplifier under package shelf. Driver's seat has typical wear on edge that needs repair but rest of seat and passenger seat and door panels all very good black leather. Heat and AC do not work. I replaced the ac drier and evacuated and charged the system. Compressor makes good pressure and no leaks. I think the expansion valve on the ac evaporator is stuck from not being used for a long time. I think a new expansion valve would fix the AC but it is located in the center console and I am too old to crawl under the dash to work on that. Heater core was disconnected when I bought the car. Probably needs the heater core repaired or replaced - is also in the center console where I cannot work on it. It is used as a fair weather car for car shows or Sunday drives so I never needed the ac or heater. There is an electrical gremlin that drains the battery if you leave it parked for a while. I just keep it on a charger when not driving it. Finding the electrical drain should a matter of putting amp meter on the battery and then pulling fuses until you find the thing causing the drain on battery. Could have something to do with the fancy stereo someone installed in it. Probably something small since the alternator and starter have both been replaced recently. I have too many projects and never found time to track down the problem. It is a good driver for a car collector.
