Car was on ebay 11/15 www.ebay.com/itm/1980-Jaguar-XJS-/121809467535
Auction was pulled by seller autogov
Sellers description:
JUST 44,000 MILES FROM NEW WITH FULL SERVICE HISTORY, This classic Jaguar comes with a folder of all repair and service history throughout its low mileage lifetime.
0 to 60 QUICKER THAN YOU CAN COUNT the original TWELVE CYLINDER engine is startlingly fast and stunningly smooth.
The top is in exceptional condition and is complemented with a tailored boot cover also manufactured in high quality duck cloth.
The car has the original (working) jaguar radio, jaguar floor mats and the Lucas Square 8 spotlamps below the front bumper. Even the manufacturer's welcome tape sounds like new and is shown in the trunk with other credentials. The iconic leaping chrome jaguar has been added to the hood.
Unfortunately developed a slight drip from the water pump and wiped a massive $2000 from my renovation budget (Pump $1300 alone), but now the car will drive anywhere, however an electrical glitch prevents the top and windows from working properly and were top of my to do list. All the electric motors have been checked in isolation and guaranteed to be working satisfactorily. the body is rust and dent free and the paint is in fair condition although it has understandably lost some of its lustre. The front seats have covers that would benefit from an upgrade.
FLORIDA TITLE 95541913 SHOWS CAR FIRST REGISTERED 3/1989 AND LAST TITLE ISSUED 04/03/2006 WITH A CERTIFIED MILEAGE OF 35,583 SO AS YOU CAN SEE THE CAR HAVE COVERED LESS THAN 10,000 MILES IN LAST 10 YEARS.
I have posted a copy of the the title and a photo of the very minimal damage sustained to this vehicle in 2004. The repairs are undetectable

Car returns to ebay 8/26/16 www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XJS-/282149830714
Opening bid US $3,999, no reserve, no bids 6 days left in auction, seller amalgamate, 44k miles, car now said to be in Panama City, Florida.
Sellers description:
Everyday Driver with extremely low miles. The car was involved in a front end accident in 2003 and as you can see from the photograph underwent a complete restoration with brand new parts and finally a color change in the amount of $10,867 by Autosports Inc. (See Invoice) The car has a guaranteed mileage of 44,000 + some odd miles and can function as a daily driver. The original driver's welcome tape from Jaguar cars and other original documents including all maintenance records are in the trunk.
The electrical operation of the top and the windows is not functioning at this time and top and driver's window function manually.
