Ebay item 1/24/18

www.ebay.com/itm/1987-Jaguar-XJ/132480755796

Opening bid US $7,200, no reserve, no bids 6 days left in auction, seller fabperson, 37k miles.

Sellers description:

1987 XJH Jaguar V12 USA VIN is SAJNV3847HC136752

This Jaguar is owned by an elderly friend of mine and it was a gift to his wife. The car was purchased in 1997 with 30700 miles on it and today it has 37430 miles.

The car was always kept in a heated garage. The car is almost flawless. There is no rust, no dents, no scratches. they are the third owner. Today it just needs a good home.

There are no known electrical problems. All the lights and turn signals work. Brakes are in good working condition. The exhaust is good on the car.

In June of 2017 the car had not been driven in probably a year-and-a-half. The gas tank was removed, taken and boiled out and reinstalled. I have recently put about 20 miles on the car and it runs fine.

There also has a soft convertible top. It will need to be restored. All of the wire wheels are in excellent condition. The car comes from a family that I have had the privilege to be involved with working on restoration projects over 22 years. As I stated once before the car has always been in a Temperature Control building. The car is an excellent example of a Jaguar. Well preserved. Clean car.

This is a 31 year old car. With less than 38000 miles on it. What is being sought for now is a home for this car, someone that will appreciate a V12 Jaguar. The car drives like a new car it is very tight, the doors open and close like a new car. The leather is in excellent condition no rips, no tears. It is an automatic transmission, electric windows.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
