This 1989 Jaguar XJ-S V12 convertible is a Canadian-market example that is said to have remained registered to its original owner in British Columbia until 2021, when it was acquired by the selling dealer. The car is finished in Tungsten Metallic over Savile Gray leather and is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a blue soft top, 15″ basketweave wheels, fog lights, heated power-adjustable seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a cassette stereo. This XJ-S V12 convertible shows 46k kilometers (~28k miles) and is now offered in Washington at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and an Ohio title.
The car is finished in Tungsten Metallic and features a power-operated blue convertible top and a matching boot cover. Additional exterior details include chrome-accented impact bumpers and mirror housings, a front splitter, fog lights, a power-retractable antenna, a trunk-mounted brake light, and polished dual exhaust outlets.
Silver-finished 15″ basketweave wheels with Jaguar-logo center caps wear 215/70 Toyo Celsius tires, and a spare is stored in the trunk. Braking is handled by four-wheel anti-lock ventilated discs. Service in preparation for the sale included replacing the front brake rotors and rear brake calipers and pads in addition to flushing the brake fluid.
The cabin features heated power-adjustable seats upholstered in Savile Gray leather with burl wood veneer trim on the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, and a cassette stereo.
The two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 260-km/h speedometer and a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline as well as gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, voltage, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 46k kilometers (~28k miles), approximately 100 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 5.3-liter V12 was factory rated at 262 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in 2019.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with a tool kit.
