Sellers description:
1989 Jaguar XJS Coupe with a 1996 Corvette LT1 motor and GM4L60E automatic transmission. This car is very solid with very little rust (as pointed out in the pictures)and this car is VERY FAST!!! I have owned the car a little over 18 months and have invested over $12,000. I have the receipts. All work was done by a Master Mechanic at Xceptional Auto in Fredericksburg, Va. I have made many upgrades to the engine and the chassis including: - Stock aluminum heads with new beehive valve springs, hardened keepers, hardened locks, hardened push rods, and 1.6 self aligning roller rockers - New GM Hot Cam with 525/525 lift and 218/228 duration - Custom aluminum tall valve covers - Ported intake manifold, 52mm throttle body, cold air intake, and 24lbs injectors - New Accel Opti Spark, Accel Super Coil, and Bosh 4 prong platinum spark plugs - New Mallory electric fuel pump - Custom Sanders ceramic coated headers with 5/8 primary, 21/2 secondary, and stage8 fasteners - New X pipe flowing into Flowmaster Super 44 mufflers with nice tips for an awesome sound - PCM upgraded by PCM's For Less and all sensors including the MAS are new - A heavy duty radiator from Summit Racing was installed last year - A new A/C condenser and dryer are installed but not hooked up - Installed new front and rear drilled/slotted rotors, new calipers, and brake pads - Replaced all front and rear bushings, bearings, and seals last summer - Installed 6 New Boge shocks last summer - Installed a rebuilt rack and penion last year - Upgraded to a 1" anti-sway bar last fall. The car now handles like a dream. The tires are good (as pictured) and the car has passed Virginia Inspection. I made the car strong and fast. You only need to make it look pretty. The paint is only fair with some fading. The worst in on the drivers side roof. All known rust spots have been treated with POR 15 anti-rust inhibiter. The drivers side door has a hole in it from rust and there are a few other small spots (see the pictures). The chrome strip on top of the bumper is bent. I am including a good replacement. The A/C compressor is bad I can hear the bearings and like all Jags the heater is not very good and has a mind of its own. On a scale of 1 to 10 the interior is a 7. The driver seat bask seam needs stitching. All else is very good. I removed the carpet to treat the floor pan with POR 15. I will provide an inexpensive replacement. The speedometer dose not work most of the time. The problem is with a sending unit in the trunk. When I bought the car the radio was sitting on the back seat. It may or may not work. I will include it. Dash lights also need replacing, oil, gas, and temp. gauges are not accurate. I can't think of anything else good or bad.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
