89 Jaguar XJS Coupe that has been lovingly restored over the last 2 years. The car started out in California and then moved to Georgia with its owner. Then we purchased the car in October of 2008. This car has been gone through top to bottom and is in terrific shape. The 5.3 motor starts with the first turn of the key and there is no smoke on start up! The engine has recently been tuned to include: plugs, wires, cap and rotor. The idle is smooth and the power is all there from the V12. Under the hood is clean, have you ever seen a nice car with a dirty engine! The car we had completely repainted 1.5 years ago it came out great. The body is free on any damage and has all original panels. Of course this one being in California and now in Georgia, it is RUST FREE. The interior of the car is as nice as the outside. The seats and panels have been redone, there is virtually no wear. The dash is crack free! The wood is in great shape, not perfect, but I bet you will not find a nicer interior. The only upgrade in the interior is the radio, it is a Sony CD with and I Pod adapter, it works great. The wheels and tires have been upgraded and less the 2k on them. They ride better then a factory set and look better in my opinion. We have since sold the old set so they are not available but are not hard to find either. I have just taken the car for a 150 mile ride and it ran great as it always does. I feel that you could drive this one anywhere! There are 2 things that will need attention down the road. The drivers side power seat belt needs to be fixed, I always use the lap belt so it has never bothered me. The power steering leaks some fluid, it gets topped off at every oil change. These are the only 2 issues that need attention they do not effect the car how it drives now. This is a very solid Jaguar, if you are looking for one that the hard stuff has already been taken care of, then look no further. Although no car is perfect I feel this one is pretty nice. The only reason this one is for sale is because the purchase of an 87 with only 30k!
