In San Diego up for NO RESERVE auction is a beautiful 1988 Jaguar XJS V12 cylinder Sports coupe.

Has a lot of service records for the auction winner.

Engine is strong and smooth. Easy to start and idles well. Idle surges a little when it's warm. We have discovered a small leak at the right intake manifold gasket. When you spray carb cleaner right at the leak, idle goes up. Our mechanic is not familiar with V12 Jags, so we'll sell it the way it is. Please bid accordingly with that repair cost in mind.

Transmission shifts very well.

Overall condition is beautiful. The paint is beautiful. Does have some dings or scratches that had been touched up.

Please look at the photos closely as they do a lot better job describing the cosmetics than my words.

Brakes stops well but pulls to left side on braking. Drives straight otherwise.

Interior is beautiful. The leather is fairly nice, does have a couple of tears on both seats. has a pair of very nice sheepskin covers for them currently
sitting in the trunk. The woodgrain panels are very nice. Dash looks great, no obvious crack. The headliner and carpet are great.

AC works and compressor kicks in when turned on and it's cold.

All the electric windows work.

Wire wheels are beautiful. 2 tires are good, other two should be replaced in the near future.

This is very nice looking car that runs very well. It's a good daily driver.

Has a clean and clear CA title for the auction winner. Personal plates were retained by the donor. Planned non-operation was filed with CA DMV, there's no late fee for CA or out of state buyer.

Due to the intake leak, I won't be smogging it for CA buyer. Not needed for out of state buyer.
