Current bid US $1,025.00
Reserve not met 12 bids 4 days left in auction, buy it now price $2,250, seller congero53, 135k miles.
Sellers description:
This 1989 Jaguar XJS V12 Coupe is a 4 owner car with a clean title. Original California car. Straight body. No rust, accidents or dents, 135,000 original miles, nice paint and interior and it has a good original V12 engine and automatic transmission. My mechanic checked the vehicle and it won't start because no power is going to the spark plugs. It needs a new distributor. It has the Lucas distributor. It has a new beefed up starter motor, new battery, new fuel pump and fuel filter. All of those parts were replaced recently. It's been sitting for a few years so it will need a good service. The fluids should be changed, recharge a/c, tune up, brake pads and it will need tires. The tires on there now are good enough to move it around. It comes with full synthetic oil, new oil filter and coolant that has not been installed yet. It's complete and it comes with a matching set of 5 original 1989 alloy Jaguar wheels that are in good condition. Right now it has 3 BBS wheels and one of the original wheels on the car. I have the part that mounts the spare tire in the trunk and I have the vinyl spare tire cover. It has the original tool kit. I will install all the matching wheels on the car before it's sold. I will also mount the spare tire in the trunk. I'm selling it at a low price because of the distributor problem and I no longer have a place to keep it.

The car sat for at least 10 years with gas in the tank. Lots of hoses and belts to replace! Quite an undertaking to bring back to life, but she just passed CA smog inspection and the motor has great compression. Hope to take it to the track!
