1988 Jaguar XJ-SC HE V-12. 23,064 original miles. BLACK EXTERIOR/ TAN INTERIOR. 5.3 L HE V-12 ENGINE. 3-SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION. RARE JAGUAR – BARN RESCUE. The XJ-SC is not a full convertible but had a non-removable centre targa-type structure and fixed cantrails above the doors. The rear quarter windows remained as well. The targa top sections above the driver and passenger seats are removable. The rear portion folds down to open the rear section of the vehicle. We have begun the restoration process with some mechanical repairs. After this vehicle was brought in to our repair facility it was fully evaluated. We found the tires need replacing, window switches weren’t making proper connection, hood shocks weak, center wheel caps were missing, fuel gauge not working, and battery was needed. There were a few small electrical issues that were found as well the tag lights, turn signals, and 4 way flashers were not operating. Our technicians made the following repairs to the vehicle. Replaced all four tires, Replaced Passenger and Driver Window Switches, Installed New Hood Shocks, Replaced center caps on wheels, Replaced Battery, Replaced Fuel Pump, Pressure Regulator, and Fuel Filter.
