This Jaguar XJS has only ever been driven by one person, the father of the current owners, who was a passionate fan of the manufacturer. It was sold new by the Garage Saint Antoine in Fontainebleau, France, on July 10th 1986 to the company of which he was CEO at the time. His son remembers, for the first time in his life, gleefully hitting 200 km/h with his father at the wheel. In the original folder containing the service records, we can see that the car was regularly serviced up until 1990, when it had clocked up 81,062 km. It was later replaced by a Jaguar XJ40 and kept aside for less regular use. Sold without technical inspection, the odometer now reads 104,438 km, and it is in decent working order, although a general service is required after little use in recent years. There are some traces of corrosion to be repaired, and the roof lining needs to be redone. As for the rest, the well-preserved beautiful beige leather upholstery, which blends perfectly with the midnight blue of the bodywork, is original. With a stunning design, clean history, and reasonable number of kilometres on the clock, collectors will struggle to resist this XJS.
Estimation 10 000 - 15 000 €
