This 1986 Jaguar XJS V12 coupe is a German-market left-hand-drive example that was purchased new in Frankfurt by the original owner and subsequently imported to the US. The car was acquired by the seller in 2020, reportedly from the family of the original owner, and it now shows 44k miles. Finished in Windsor Blue over Magnolia leather, the car is powered by a 5.3-liter V12 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include glass headlamps with wipers, European-market bumpers, cruise control, air conditioning, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, and wool carpets. This XJS is now offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate, a tool roll, a clean Carfax report, and Connecticut registration in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Windsor Blue and features silver side stripes. Exterior equipment includes European-market bumpers, glass headlamps with wipers, rear fog lights, and dual exhaust outlets. Close-up photos of the body and lenses are provided in the image gallery below.

Factory 15″ alloy wheels wear Pirelli P4000 tires. A full-size spare is located in the trunk along with the factory tool roll.

The cabin features seats upholstered in Magnolia Connolly leather with matching door panels, Cinnamon carpets, and burl wood trim on the doors and dashboard. Amenities include power windows, locks, and mirrors, cruise control, air conditioning, an onboard computer, and a Blaupunkt Aspen SQR 24 cassette stereo.

The leather-wrapped steering wheel is mounted on a telescoping steering column and frames Smiths instrumentation including a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6,500-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit odometer shows 44k miles, approximately 500 of which were added by the seller.

The 5.3-liter V12 produced 291 horsepower and 319 lb-ft of torque when new. Fluid changes were performed last year according to the seller.

Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.

Manufacturer’s literature and a Jaguar Heritage Trust certificate showing a production date of September 18, 1985 and initial delivery to Jaguar Deutschland of Frankfurt, Germany, are included in the sale.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New York, Maine, and Connecticut from its first entry in 1986 through its most recent update in November 2020.
