Presented here is an unrepeatable opportunity to take ownership of a remarkably well preserved XJ-S Le Mans Edition indicating just 2,307km (or 1,433 miles) from new. According to the Jaguar Heritage Certificate, this limited edition, right-hand drive XJ-S was manufactured in October 1990 and delivered new to Singapore shortly after. Finished in gleaming Brooklands Green with cream leather piped in dark green, this example presents in remarkable condition having been used very little over the years.

To commemorate Jaguars success at the ‘24 Heures du Mans’ in 1988 and again in 1990 a limited edition ‘Le Mans’ model was introduced. The Le Mans Edition added extra leather trim, ‘Le Mans’ motifs to headrests and foot plates, quad headlights, ‘Growler’ bonnet badge, 16” ‘lattice’ alloy wheels and a ‘Le Mans’ boot badge to neatly finish off the package.

After having formed part of a large, internationally recognised car collection it has recently been repatriated and recommissioned from bumper to bumper with all items checked down to every last switch. The fluids have been changed before covering a few 100 miles to test and check all is ok. The original tyres were out of date and new correct, premium-brand tyres fitted, although the spare wheel still wears the original. Offered with a fresh MOT and UK registration papers were applied for around 4 weeks ago at the time of cataloguing (we will update the listing if these appear prior to the sale from the DVLA).

In summary, this is a superbly presented, very low mileage, limited edition XJ-S in time-warp condition. Average examples are plentiful, however, if you simply must have the very best, then we have the car for you.
