Number of cylinders: 12

Registered on 27th October 1989 and having had only one owner from new, this Jaguar XJS is a rare find indeed. Unique is a word frequently misused but in this case it fits, as we can't believe there can be too many 26 year old XJS in this condition having covered less than 3,000 miles from new!
Originally supplied by Riders Jaguar of Truro and very rarely used up until 2001, it has since been stored as part of a private collection of mainly British vehicles. This Jaguar has covered a mere 2743 miles from new which equates to just over 100 miles a year. Never used in the wet the underside of the car appears as good as when it left the factory. Finished in a striking metallic light blue with a cream leather interior, the whole car looks and feels as though it has just left Riders' showroom, and as you open the door even retains some of that special new car smell!
The spare wheel has never been used and the car comes complete with its comprehensive tool kit which we doubt has ever seen the light of day. Amazingly the original Jaguar XJS welcoming audio tape is still present in the glovebox ready to be slotted into the radio cassette and explain to new owners how to get the best from their purchase of, what would have been at the time, one of the most prestigious cars on the market.
All the standard alloy wheels and tyres are in excellent condition and the car drives as it should.
After many years in the doldrums prices of really good examples of the XJS have started to increase rapidly recently, and if you have always wanted to own one, this is as close as you are going to get to finding a new one.
Please note the current registration is not included in the sale, the retention is in process
