1994 Jaguar XJS 4.0 Automatic Jubilee Model
Limited edition Jubilee model
Comes with factory upgrades
Owned by our vendor for 12 years
HPI clear
This 1994 XJS Jubilee model presented in the elegant combination of Sapphire Blue with Oatmeal leather, is a special-edition model that adds polish to an already refined classic. Well maintained, and with a reassuring file of history. This is a rare opportunity to acquire one of the last true Jaguar GTs.
This Jaguar XJS is one of very few Jubilee models, commissioned by leading Jaguar dealership, Guy Salmon, to celebrate its journey as a bespoke Jaguar Dealer.
These were built in low numbers, sanctioned by Jaguar Cars at the time, and are very collectable.
First registered: 3rd August 1994
An image of the original selling dealer document is in the Gallery
Along with the limited edition plaque
In current ownership for the past 12 years
HPI Clear
Vehicle has always been garage-kept
Accompanied by a file of service history, MOTs from 2015 onward, invoices, and original books
Comes with owner's manual, service book, 1 key, spare wheel, jack & toolkit
Mechanicals
Beneath the long, sweeping bonnet lies the much improved AJ16 4.0-litre inline-six engine:
Twin overhead camshafts with 4 valves per cylinder
Lightweight aluminium cylinder head
238bhp and 382Nm of torque
0-60mph in 7.6 seconds
Top speed: 147mph
Smooth four-speed ZF automatic transmission with switchable Normal and Sport modes
Polybushed front suspension for improved handling
Engine bay looks clean and well-kept
Our vendor told us, “It has not really been anywhere in the last 5 years however it has still been maintained. The last time the vehicle was serviced was probably about a year ago. When it was last MOT’d the garage said there is no point doing another service as it doesn't need it.”
Interior
The Oatmeal leather upholstery remains in overall good condition, with the expected wear to the driver's seat. The headlining, often a weak spot in XJS models, is unusually well-preserved.
Electrically adjustable front seats
Air conditioning
Cruise control
Heated rear window with timer
LCD trip computer and analogue clock
Kerb lamps, heated washer jets
Electric windows and heated mirrors
Stainless steel treadplates
Factory wood-rimmed steering wheel and hand-polished veneers
Courtesy light delay and boot lamp
All of this blends to provide the XJS’s trademark combination of luxury and long-distance comfort.
Outside
The paintwork in Sapphire Blue still gleams, it is complemented by factory coachlines, the signature Jaguar Growler bonnet badge, and bright chrome detailing throughout.
Alloy wheels
Discreet boot spoiler
Enamel badges and quality chrome trim
Light parking rash on rear bumper
Slight lifting to nearside front upper bumper chrome
Mirror-bright finish overall
Distinctive rear light styling of later models
