Car to be at auction 8/22

angliacarauctions.co.uk/classic/sat-20th-sun-21st-august/jaguar-xj-s-53-v12-coup ...

Auction description:

1991 Jaguar XJ-S 5.3 V12 Coupe Auto

Lot Number:

Estimate: Tbc

V5 Present

MoT Jul 2023

Chassis number: SAJJNAEC3CA176116

The vendor acquired this Jaguar XJ‑S, with its very appropriate numberplate, in November 1998. It was originally registered in August 1991 (albeit on a different plate ‑ it has worn several over the years) and is now showing 90,807 miles on its odometer with five former registered keepers recorded. The MoT is valid until July 2023.

The car is currently green; however, it started life as beige, with its colour being changed in January 1995.

The documentation with the car includes the V5C, current MoT certificate, and original book pack with owner's handbook, forecourt data sheet, radio instructions and service book, albeit stamped up to 51,096 miles in May 1991.

Spam prevention question (must be answered):
The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
