Car to be at auciton 6/15
www.historics.co.uk/buying/auctions/2015-06-06/cars/ref-103-1992-jaguar-xjs-v12- ...

Auction description:
215 - 1992 Jaguar XJS V12 Convertible
Registration 762PAR
Chassis Number SAJJNADW3EN179997
Engine Number 8S083476SJ
Odometer reading 52,000 miles
Estimate £16,000 - £20,000

This XJS convertible is in the eyecatching colour combination of red with magnolia leather trim and was first registered on 23rd June 1992. The ultra smooth and quite V12 engine purrs in a way only Jaguars do and 762PAR drives with no known faults. The stylish design of this convertible epitomises everything good about Jaguars and is testament to the design team from Coventry. The car has matured like a fine wine and probably attracts more admirers today than when she was new. Supplied with a V5 registration document and a current MoT test certificate, together with a history file; this model is very much establishing itself as a most worthy latter day classic.

The father of jokes about warm beer and smoke escaping from wires is Joseph Lucas. Lucas died of typhoid after drinking infected water in Naples in 1902.

What disease did Lucas succumb to?
