For Sale on eBay Australia August 31, 2011. Has 231,100 kilometers and is asking AUD $11,000 as starting bid with an Unknown Reserve price.
My beautiful Jag is to be auctioned complete with personalised number plates BTHST 1 (Bathurst won). The car is a Jaguar V12 with 3 speed Turbo 400 auto box. The engine runs very well with normal oil pressure and temperature and the ride is superb. Ths vehicle is a crowd pleaser where ever you park it. The paint finnish is above average and the interior is good for its age. Some things need attention, the cruise control module needs to be remounted in engine bay(removed to replace plugs) thats if you need it , I didnt. The air con needs regas, The drivers seat leather is worn on the door side, a small section of wood dash on passengers side corner needs re laquaring, the Pioneer radio/cd unit not working and the original Jaguar Radio/cassette comes with the car,the headlight wipers need new wiper blades, there is a couple of small paint nicks on the front of bonnet with paint lifting approx 50mm long, the passenger electric window gets stuck an inch from the top. There are some other very small defects but nothing to effect the overall appearance of the car. The car does not come with service records but suffice to say I have diligently replaced the air filters and engine oil and filter every 10,000 klm with Mobil 1 and the coolant, plugs and brake fluid were recently renewed. According to the previous owner this vehicle was once owned by a director of Cremorne Prestige in Sydney and original service records may be available . The vehicle is fitted with adjustable front shocks and almost new Toyo tyres. This car is rare as one of only 300 cabriolets imported to Australia and one of only 12 in the Bordeaux color. The plates celebrate Jaguars and John Gosses magnificent Bathhurst win in 1985. The car must be picked up from Jamberoo NSW.
