Car offered at:
swallows-jag.co.uk/listing/jaguar-xj-sc-5-3-he-v12/
Seller's description:
A stylish convertible grand tourer, Swallows are delighted to offer this stunning 1986 Jaguar XJ-SC 5.3 HE V12. Presented in super condition in fabulous colour combination of Claret Red paintwork and Doeskin leather interior. The car benefits from a strong maintenance history, and the axles and brakes were fully overhauled in 2016. The car will be supplied with its original owner’s manuals, service book and toolkit, as well as a raft of MOT certificates dating back to 1996, an extensive collection of maintenance invoices, a current valuation certificate, and a photographic record on DVD of its 2016 brake overhaul. Having covered a little over 51,100 miles, this is a lower mileage and well cherished Jaguar XJS and serviced by ourselves here at Swallows Independent Jaguar Specialist in September 2021.
Modifications include an aftermarket stainless-steel exhaust system, a retrofitted ‘ski slope’ cruise control system, a car phone and an LTC GPS speedometer, otherwise the car is very original.
This XJ-SC was specified with Claret Red paintwork, Doeskin leather upholstery, walnut interior trim and 15-inch ‘Starfish’ wheels. The car is also equipped with a rear wing mounted on the boot lid. Original equipment includes electric windows and the factory-fitted Jaguar-branded Clarion radio/cassette player.
