1987, "E" Reg, TWR Jaguar XJ-SC, 5.3 ltr V-12 Automatic Cabriolet. The ultimate XJS Cabriolet with the full factory TWR (Tom Walkinshaw Racing) conversion. TWR tuned engine with larger air intakes and high-flow air filters. Full TWR embossed bodykit. 16-inch TWR wheels and centre caps, the spare is also a TWR with its own centre cap. TWR steering wheel. TWR sports suspension with upgraded lowered springs. TWR brakes with light alloy 4-pot calipers. TWR quad exhaust. TWR quick-shift gearbox and round gear knob in wood. Just one Owner from new, the log book shows one Previous Owner due to it being registered to the family business when new. Extremely rare TWR model but even more rare to find one in Black, most were 2-tone Green, and this is factory Black and not had a colour change. Black leather interior. Wood cappings. Heated seats. Cruise control. Air conditioning. Original Jaguar stereo cassette player. Electric aerial. Trip computer. Electric windows. Electric mirrors. Headlight wipers. Pirelli tyres. HPI clear, certificate provided. The car has been in storage for nearly 10 years so it will need minor restoration to get it back to a roadworthy condition. It starts first time and sounds fantastic but there is an oil leak and some of the electrics don't work like wipers and mirrors plus the electric aerial has been snapped off by the rear spoiler. The body and chassis are pretty good for the age but needless to say there is bound to be some welding required and I would re-spray the car from the waistline down. The car comes complete with fully working removable hardtops and tonneau covers plus Jaguar tool kit etc. The car comes with all the old MOT certificates, 2 full sets of original keys, the first ever tax disc and stamped up service book. There are 10 stamps in all, all from the supplying Jaguar main dealer.
