Ebay item 5/5/16 www.ebay.com/itm/Jaguar-XJS-XJ-SC-/152079222051
Current bid US $2,550 reserve not met 5 bids 6 days left in auction. Seller ayhanm303, 75k miles. Car now said to be in Newark, California.
Sellers description:
THIS IS A VERY RARE 1985 JAGUAR XJ-SC WITH 3.6 ENGINE AND 5 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION
THIS CAR IS IN IMMACULATE CONDITION. IT IS A VERY RARE CAR. THIS CAR IS IN WHITE BODY COLOR AND BLUE SEMI CONVERTIBLE/CABTIOLET TOP.
THE CAR STARTS AND RUNS AND SHIFT PERFECTLY.
Introduced in 1983 the new targa roof XJ-SC featured the all new AJ6 3.6 litre straight 6 mated to a five speed gearbox. The new body style was introduced incorporating lift out roof panels and a collapsible rear window section, which left a T-bar arrangement similar to the Triumph Stag. This roof style was developed initially instead of a full convertible because of the impending North American laws, and it was felt that a full convertible would be outlawed. This never actually materialized and a full convertible XJS was eventually manufactured.

autohunter.com/Listing/Details/16669541/1985-Jaguar-XJSC-5Speed_source=classiccars.com&utm_medium=search-results-clicks&utm_campaign=cc.com-search-direct-to ...
1985 Jaguar XJ-SC 5-Speed Current Bid: $4,000 Car now in Morgan Hill, California.
Seller's description:
This 1985 Jaguar XJ-SC two-door is a European-market grand touring Targa-style convertible powered by a 3.6-liter AJ6 inline-6 paired with a Getrag 5-speed manual transmission. This XJ-SC shows 75,000 miles on the odometer and comes with amenities including burled elm trim, leather upholstery, a Pioneer radio, and power convenience options. Finished in Tudor White over a dark blue leather interior, this XJ-SC is now offered with a CARFAX report with a clear California title in the seller’s name.
This XJ-SC from 1985 is painted Tudor White (NDC) and has a contrasting manually-retractable blue cloth top. The straight, rust-free body is accented in a black chin spoiler, chrome bumpers with black rub strips, and chrome sideview mirror caps.
Mesh-style 15” silver-painted aluminum wheels with Jaguar center caps are wrapped in Cooper Cobra tires with good tread life remaining.
The two-seat interior is fitted with dark blue leather bucket seats, matched to the door panels, console, dash, and carpeting. Two Targa roof panels above the seats are removable and connect to a retracting cloth top. Additional amenities include a Pioneer AM/FM/cassette head unit, air conditioning, power windows, and burled elm woodgrain cabin trim.
Instrumentation is conveyed via a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and inset barrel-style readouts for coolant temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and voltage. The six-digit mechanical odometer reads approximately 75k miles, less than 1,000 of which have been added by the seller since acquiring the car in 2016. The CARFAX shows a reading in excess of 200,000 miles as of June 2020, but this is said to be a mistake.
The 3.6-liter AJ6 inline-6 sends power to the rear wheels via a console-shifted Getrag 265 5-speed manual transmission.
The CARFAX report shows history free of accidents or damage, with reporting beginning in 1992, as well as the aforementioned odometer discrepancy.
